Yes, slavery should continue. Itís an important part of our economy. There should be no interference with the slave trade. No, slavery must end. It is contrary to the principles of the Declaration of Independence. The slave trade must end immediately.

Yes, the national government should regulate trade. This includes trade between states and trade between our country and other countries. National tariffs will protect our economy.  This is the best way to ensure wealth for the most people. No, the national government should not make laws about trade, especially about trade with other countries. National tariffs discourage other countries from doing business with us.  This interferes with peopleís freedom to pursue wealth as much as they want.
